Dear Reader,

The change in seasons invites us to reflect and realign. Since we are always manifesting, this is a perfect opportunity to evaluate our life and surroundings and take stock of what makes us happy and what we would like to change.

Using mindfulness to break the cycle of lack

🪞 Inner Work

As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul…”

Hermes Trismegistus

Everything around us is shaped by our thoughts and energy.

With this understanding, we can start to mindfully assess the areas where we aren’t achieving our goals or desires.

Beneath the areas where we feel we fall short, there are some unconscious thoughts and patterns quietly sabotaging us.

The goal is to bring those shadows into the light. We do this with curiosity and wonder, not judgment or criticism.

We want to identify what we wish to improve and expand, and uncover the stories, self-talk, and beliefs blocking our progress.

Gently Exploring Our Inner Landscape

🔥 Empowered Action

I recommend a daily journaling practice for everyone! It's a wonderful way to become more mindful and present. Adding a list of five things you're thankful for each day shifts your focus to abundance instead of scarcity.

Journaling also helps us create a wish list and pinpoint areas where we might be unconsciously resisting change.

Approach these reflections when you're in a good state of mind, viewing it as an exciting journey rather than a chore.

-Make a list of your desires and goals.

-Honestly evaluate where you currently stand in relation to these goals.

-Gently and compassionately explore your conscious wants vs your subconscious needs.

For example, openly saying you want to lose weight versus secretly seeking a feeling of safety, since losing weight might make you feel exposed or vulnerable. Remember, in the battle between our conscious and subconscious mind, the subconscious always wins.

You’re on your way to stepping out of your own way!

This work is exciting and empowering. You’re getting to know yourself—possibly for the very first time!

Manifesting should be fun! It’s all about energy, and The Universe can always tell when someone’s faking.

We can’t change what we don’t acknowledge. Being mindful of our desires, thoughts, and actions is essential to manifesting our dreams.

Next time, we’ll explore dismantling and reframing limiting beliefs and hidden needs so they align better with our desired outcomes.

Mindfully yours,

Melissa Maxx
