Much of the US is being hit hard by winter storms. It is cold, grey, and many people are stuck in their homes, some without electricity. It’s normal and even expected to feel dips in our energy and mood in reaction to the outside world, but it doesn’t have to stay that way.

We can set the intention to reclaim our energy and increase our manifesting power.

🌙 The Myth Of Perfect Conditions

It’s human nature to think that outside conditions are responsible for how we feel on the inside. When it comes to manifesting mindfully, it’s important not to fall into that trap. When we are stuck indoors or dealing with the “blah” of a winter storm, our mood may drop, or a limiting belief may creep in. We may start to feel lazy and think we can “put aside” our manifesting process once it is warmer or the sun comes out.

In reality, manifestation is an inside-out job. This “Mid-Winter Funk” is actually an invitation to practice Internal Sovereignty. This means recognizing that while we don’t control the weather, we can absolutely challenge and reframe our thoughts. Once we do this and raise our energetic vibration, our actions will also be higher quality.

Today, ask yourself: “Am I waiting for the outside world to be ‘perfect’ before I allow myself to feel ‘great’?” When we separate our happiness from external forecasts, we stop being victims of our environment and become masters of our frequency.

Thaw Your Energy From Within

To move through the feeling of being energetically frozen, we need to shift our focus. Even if we are stuck at home, we can still effectively “thaw” our energy.

The Digital Sanctuary:

  • When we feel isolated because of the weather, we may rely on our screens for connection. Unfortunately, we often end up “doom-scrolling,” which lowers our vibration.

  • Turn off news notifications and step away from social media. Instead, fill that space with high-frequency inputs—light a candle, put on fuzzy socks, listen to your favorite music, or read an entertaining or informative book. By closing the door to external chaos, you preserve the heat of your own intentions.

  • Use this opportunity to reconnect with your senses. Close your eyes and imagine your 2026 goals as a glowing light in your solar plexus. Feel that light radiating outward, warming your body from the inside. This isn’t just visualizing—it’s a biological reset for your nervous system that reminds you that you are safe, abundant, and in motion.

🌱 Be The Thermostat, Not The Thermometer

A mindset shift to play with this week: “I am the Thermostat, Not the Thermometer.” A thermometer reflects the temperature, but a thermostat sets it.

This week, when the world feels cold, grey, or heavy, don’t reflect that energy back—set your own energetic response. You have the tools to keep up your momentum even in the deep freeze. Your energy belongs to you, and your future is still very much in motion.
