Dear Reader,

Parking lots are crazy. Stores are crowded. People seem harried, and your to-do list is long. Although the holiday season is a time of joy and celebration, it can also be a hectic time full of anxiety and stress. The rushing and planning can take us out of the moment and have us running on autopilot. Unconscious action sabotages mindful manifesting. The solution is tapping into the quiet, calm energy of Winter to find clarity.

Busy is not best.

💡 Mindset Shift

Part of what adds to our overwhelm, year-round, not just during the holidays, is the belief that our value is based on “productivity”. We have a misguided idea that if we do more, we are worth more. We somehow feel that if we slow down, we will fall behind and never reach our goals.

The truth of the matter is that the universe responds to energy, not timelines or schedules. The more rushed we feel, the less in touch we are with the present moment, and the more scattered our energy is.

Pausing gives us the opportunity to be present and thankful. It also enables us to be mindful and intentional with our thoughts, actions, and energy. When we look at it this way, slowing down and resting is actually productive for the manifesting process.

🔮 Rituals / Practices

If you only add one thing to your schedule this week, it should be this, one non-negotiable Intentional Non-Doing Hour. Your impulse might be to use this time for self-reflection, meditating, or journaling. Think again! This is a block of time carved out specifically for refusing to solve problems, make lists, or take external action. (GASP!)

Although this may seem counterintuitive initially, it is empowered action! This is a conscious decision to harness your energy and allow the universe to take over. Prioritizing slowing down manifests ease, abundance, and trust in your future.

The decision not to take action is actually a productive action in and of itself.

Manifesting Ease, Not Effort

One of the trickiest parts of manifesting is learning to let go. The modern world puts so much emphasis and doing and achieving that we forget about allowing. If willpower alone could create the life of our dreams, most of us would be living it.

🌌 Final Thought

Once we become clear on our intentions, surrender and trust are necessary.

“In the midst of movement and chaos, keep stillness inside of you."
